 The Second International High-Level Transport Conference "Integrated Transport Corridors Europe-Asia" has been held in the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

The Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) reports that within the framework of the Second International High-Level Transport Conference an agreement was signed between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine.

"As part of the event, the sides considered issues of determining the competitive advantages of various transport routes passing through the territories of the participating countries, removing obstacles to the movement of goods and simplifying trade procedures, creating unified technical and technological conditions for cargo transportation to Europe-Asia, as well as the development of intermodal transport systems and efficient logistics management of cargo flows in the direction of Europe-Asia," the report says.

Azerbaijan was represented at the event by the Chairman of the Joint-Stock Company Javid Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadah and the head of the State Maritime Administration Gudrat Gurbanov.
